Tooth Soap

~john on November 4th, 2007

I was introduced to the concept of tooth soap a couple months ago. The price seemed a little steep ($25 a bottle) so I put it off…but I was feeling like my gums needed some help so decided to go for it last week. I ordered a bottle from Perfect Prescription (http://www.perfect-prescription.com/) and it came in about 5 days. In short I love it and I am completely sold on it. The taste is not awesome (I got the citrus)..it’s a bit soapy, but not strong. What is noticeable is that unlike toothpaste there is no friction..it feels much more gliding like soap and less like a paste…this is the strong point as unlike paste, tooth soap is supposed to preserver your enamel. Even better my whole mouth feels so much cleaner…I actually look forward to brushing and find myself brushing more.

I also just bought a tongue scraper…this is a little metal device that you use to scrape gunk off your tongue. It works awesomely…before I would just brush my tongue but that is not so good as you end up spreading all that bacteria around your mouth….the tongue scraper collects it all and makes it easy to spit out.

In short I have a happy mouth this week!!
