Many peoples first experiences with raw food is through gourmet books such as Julianos “Raw”. The complexity of these recipes is enough to scare anyone away! However, I have found that with practice and cutting some corners it is not all that hard to make amazing gourmet raw food. Olives: One of my Favorite Foods!
I’ve only been an olive fan for a few years. Before then I only knew olives as either dead black canned things that ended up on pizzas or the green martini olives. Blech! All this changed when I started reading about raw olives and ordered some from rawfood.com. I bought my then housemate a number of jars of olives for Christmas. Some Kalamatas, some black olives and some Peruvian olives.
