With >20 years experience as a Psychotherapist / Marriage Family Therapist, I use Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing - EMDR, Somatic Experiencing & other body-oriented psychotherapy methods working from the body level up to reduce or eliminate triggers that underlie states of depression, anxiety, fear, anger, grief and chronic pain patterns. I use these methods to work with the effects of all kinds of trauma from past physical / emotional / sexual abuses, neglect, accidents & sports injuries.
I am a Certified EMDR Psychotherapist -Scientifically proven to create lasting changes; 2X as effective in 1/2 the time of talk psychotherapy treatments. EMDR is recognized & supported by several International Mental Health Departments as treatment of choice for trauma / PTSD.
I am also a Certified Somatic Experiencing Touch Practitioner. Somatic Experiencing is a form of body psychotherapy developed by Dr. Peter Levine to restore the body's natural resiliency after trauma. |
