Marilyn is a licensed clinical social worker with forty years of experience in areas related to
loss and psychological trauma. Treatment may address loss or grief reaction to life transitions, such as the loss of a
child, the divorce or death of a partner, spiritual crisis, or life-threatening illness, as well as the experience of
single-incident trauma. In addition to her work as a psychotherapist, Marilyn has practiced Reiki since
1998.
Marilyn is certified in psychological acupressure techniques such as TAT (Tapas Acupressure Technique)
as well as being a Level II EMDR practitioner. These therapies contribute to a holistic approach, augmenting her
foundation of Mind/Body and Gestalt work, cognitive behavioral and systems theory.
Marilyn facilitates two
support groups for individuals Living with Metastatic Cancer. The support group in Natick, MA is for individuals with any
diagnosis of advanced cancer and the group in Harvard, MA is located within a healing center community for women
with breast cancer.
Providing a sanctuary of safety and nonjudgmental respect is at the heart of
Marilyn's therapeutic work. Her compassion and intuitive ability allow her to recognize and validate both the pain
